Tutorial: AKVIS ArtWork

Baroque Architecture

The author of this tutorial is Irina Vesnina.

St.John\'s ?o-?athedral in Valetta, Malta is a jewel of Baroque art and architecture. It was built by the Knights of Malta between 1573 and 1578 and consecrated in honor of their patron saint, John the Baptist.

You can see three dials on the facade of the cathedral, which show the time, month, and day. Though the facade is not as luxurious as the interior, the building\'s clear lines are ideal for creating an image in the linocut style.
